ABSTRACT
User verification is a critical
aspect of modem digital security, ensuring that only authorized users gain
access to protected systems. This project presents an Efficient User
Verification information system (EUVS) that combines biometric authentication,
password protection, and one-time password (OTP) verification for enhanced
security. The statement of the problem focuses on the traditional
authentication systems that rely solely on passwords, which can be easily
compromised. Security breaches caused by weak or stolen credentials necessitate
a stronger and more efficient user verification information system. The project
focuses on the development of an efficiency user verification information
system that will be able to check verification to enhanced security. The
objectives of this research are to develop a platform for a real-time
efficiency user verification information system, a build a database structure
used to store data., create a design module that ensures login and register
wine, design a platform that maintains genuine product verification for
specific product before making payment at retail points, design a platform that
verify drink details, create a platform that display product protection, design
a platform-that displays verified drink details, create a platform that
displays records of registered wine. This research was realized through the adoption
of primary and secondary sources of data collection which includes interview,
observation, questionnaire, the internet and journals and the adoption of
spiral model as the methodology. The system is developed using Java Programming
Language, and the database will be of SQLite. Testing results indicate that the
system significantly improves authentication accuracy, security, and user
experience while minimizing unauthorized access attempts.
