Development Of A Predictive Model Using Machine Learning To Forecast Stock Market Trends:- Nwobodo, Chinasa B
ABSTRACT
Stock, market prediction is the process of
attempting to determine the future value of a company stock or other financial
instrument traded on an exchange. Prediction markets are open markets that
enable the prediction ofspecific outcomes using financial incentives. The
problem statement ofthis research focus on the lack of accurate predictions,
increase in inflation rates, unemployment rates and inconsistencies in market
prediction system. The project focuses on the development of a predictive model
using machine learning to forecast stock market trends. The objective of this
research focuses on the platform for the development of a predictivemodel using
machine learning to forecast stock market trends, build a database structure
used to store data, create a module used to login and prediction purchase
order, design a platform that display stock market prediction, design a
platform that display list of stock. The project was realized through the adoption
of primary and secondary sources of data collection which includes interview,
observation, questionnaire, the internet and journals. The research methodology
used is waterfall model. The system is implemented by using Html, PHP and java
script and MYSQL for the database. ;The results showed that the system
addresses the challenges by provide valuable insights into fiiture stock price
movements.
