ABSTRACT

Electronic commerce means business trading through the Internet. Ecommerce is getting more and more attention from entrepreneur and consumers, both local and international. One of the main reasons is due to the highly successful operations of some well known names on the Internet. Ecommerce is conducted using a variety of applications, such as email, online catalogs and shopping carts. The problem statement of this research focus on the images available that are not in synchronization with the theme ofthe web site being designed, the cost ofsetting up a photo shoot to get the exact images needed is expensive, access to models to poise for a particular picture is usually not available to the web designer, the models that can do the work for the designer have no platform where they can meet with them. The project focuses on the development of photo modelling e- commerce site that would be able to take advantage ofthe ecommerce technology to provide a platform where the web designers can buy products from the models and where the model will display their work. The objectives ofthis research are to develop, develop a platform for photo modelling e- commerce site for web designers, build a database, system that can be access from any location that has internet connection, create a module use for login and register all user, design a platform that used for registration for model, design a, platform that add product, create a platform used to choose product and payment, design a platform that capture product page 1, 2,3,, design a platform that used to view product list for model, ,design a platform that capture products page for web designer, design a platform that display category and view added products. The project was realized through the adoption ofprimary and secondary sources of data collection which includes interview, observation, questionnaire, the internet and journals. The application was realized through the adoption of object oriented analysis and design methodology. In this work, the system was design and implemented using Html, PHP and java script. Database was designed using MySQL.
