ABSTRACT
Rainfall prediction is one of the
demanding operational responsibility carried out meteorological services
worldwide. Information about future happening instrumental to efficient and
effective planning. This project work aims to study A Fuzzy Logic Model to
Predict Rainfall in Abia region. The methodology applied in the development of
this system is Structured System Analysis and Design Methodology (SSADM). This
is achieved using fuzzy logic operations which are fuzzification, rule base and
deffuzification. It identifies the problems that are inherent in the present
system and which hinders the effective implementation of the scheme. The
programming language used in this project is Python programming language and
the database used is SQLite. The system is able to predict the weather and
possible rainfall.
