ABSTRACT

 This study endeavours to discover the influence of Service Quality on Customer loyalty in deposit money banks in South-South Lone of Nigeria. live dimensions of serviec quality such as reliability. responsiveness, empathy, assurance and tangibility (technology) are considered independent variables while customer loyalty is considered dependent variable. Purposive and cluster sampling techniques were adopted For the study. One representative of each of the bye corporate customers olnineteen deposit money banks in South-South region Were chosen to represent the customers stratum while each oF the nineteen banks were rcpresentcd by the business managers. 'l'his brings the total number of respondents to 342 respondents. A structured questionnaire with five point I ikert Scale was adopted to sample 342 targeted respondents. Data were analyzed using simple descriptive and inFerential statistics with the aid oF SPSS. Result oF the study showed that service quality dimensions signibcantiv and positively influence customers loyalty to deposit money banks in southsouth zone oF Nigeria. Deposit money banks should adopt service quality dimension mentioned above to enhance customer loyalty in deposit money banks. Policy and decision makers should ensure the application oF service quality dimensions in their operations.
