ABSTRACT
The
project examined impact of road transportation mode on the marketing of
consumer goods in Nigeria. Transportation is an integral part of any nations
production, marketing system, it exhibit a close relationship in the style of
living. In the objective of these study are to identify the impact of road
transportation on the Nigeria economies and investigate whether transportation
help consumer in the distribution of their product in Nigeria. In these
research the data used two major source namely primary and secondary sources.
Primary data are those originally collected from a study, they are usually
developed by the researcher, example, questionnaire. While secondary data
obtained and used from marketing journals, newspaper/intemet facilities, text
books and magazines. In data presentation, it analysed using tables which
includes percentages of various response and statistical tools Chi-square was
used to test the hypothesis. In finding I was discovered that bad road affects
transportation system in Nigeria, marketers is the problem of bad road because
they sell in any comer of the road, in recommendations were made. Government
should pay attention toward of transportation and marketing of consumers goods
in Nigeria. Government should make effort to improve the nature ofthe road
