Factors Affecting Pricing Policy Of Some Selected Supermarkets In Owerri Metropolis Of Imo State, Nigeria
ABSTRACT
The research centered
on the factors affecting pricing policy of some selected supermarkets in Owerri
metropolis of Imo state, Nigeria. The data required for the study use mainly
collected through the use of a good well-structured questionnaire distributed
to the related respondent. The responses from the respondents and were analyzed
using containing table and the hypothesis formulated were tested using
chi-square (x) statistical tool and the finding from the study that the level
of market demand, consumer behaviour and perceptions, and macroeconomic trend
significantly for this findings is that appropriate pricing policy will
generate a negative influence on the level of market demand and consumer
behaviour. It was therefore recommended for firms to priorities in the business
environment and as a matter of necessity employ services of marketing expert
that will be assign with the responsibility of designating appropriate pricing
policy. Recognition of the environmental situations .
