ABSTRACT
Runoff is that portion of the precipitation
or rainfall that finds its way towards the stream channels rivers, lashes or
oceans as surface or subsurface flow. It is also the total lwei of water obtained
after water infiltration, interception, surface storage arid other losses have
been subtracted or deducted from the total dept. of precipitation (Potter,
