The project is to develop and implement a website for Computer Science
department Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike. The project
was embarked upon with the sole aim of giving the department of Computer
Science an efficient online/Internet presence. The website is intended to
provide the department with services such as general information
dissemination, checking results online, online course form registration as

well as online database information about every student in the department.
When the site is said to provide general information dissemination, it means
that information about the department will be properly distributed to any part
of the globe provided you have the necessary facilities that will grant you
access to the site. The primary thing that is needed is the availability of
Internet in the location of the person who whishes to acquire the
information. Some other factors that will be considered as secondary
include: scratch card, password / PIN (personal identification number) or

any form of identification in other to authenticate access to some
information in the website in the case of securing the web.
