ABSTRACT
This project work deals with the provision of services to
the customers. The existing system handles payment of fees; the student
generates a payment slip which has a unique number that is used to make payment
ranging from acceptance fees, school fees, medical fees and verification fees.
A unit is responsible for printing and issuing the teller for students to make
payments in the bank. The motivation derived from this work has been the use of
manual means of operations which easily laid to loss of customer information.
Also the pre-assessment of student registration system is very slow and consume
a lot of time which causes the delay in completing the entire enrolment
process. Customer satisfaction in terms of communication, competence, courtesy,
credibility, responsiveness, reliability, security and understanding. This
methodology is dependent on a number of factors including; The software
development, user requirements, qualification or training of the software
development team, the availability of the software and hardware resources,
availability of design modules and even the budget and time schedule. In order
to attain quite a reasonable acceptance of this research, we made use of the
internationally accepted software engineering model which is Object Oriented
Design Methodology (OOADM). And also the Database development tool used for
this project is MySQL using XAMP Server as the local host. This project looked
at the Customer service section of Michael Okpara University of agriculture,
Umudike portal and creates a means for students to be able to sort out their
challenges without physically going to the school portal.
