Design And Implementation Of Web Based Continuous Assessment Records Application In Secondary Schools
ABSTRACT
Critical survey and
investigation carried out on the existing system — the manual system of
examination result and continuous assessment computation, using interview,
observation and examination of documents methods, reveal that the present
system takes a very long period to process results. It also enhances error in
computation and delay in the release of students' results, thus rendering the
system in effective and inefficient. Sequel to these ills and other
shortcomings, t11ere is need for an automated system that will reduce and
leverage this problem. To achieve this task of this project "Computerized
Continuous Assessment", a modular software for this purpose using
Vb.net platform. The software was able to process each pupil's continuous
assessment records for first, second and third terms as well as the position in
the class.
