ABSTRACT

 A comprehensive learning management systems provides an efficient and scalable solution for institutions, educators, and learners, ensuring a seamless learning experience. This research explores the development of learning management systems with core features such as course management, assessments, and virtual classrooms, covering key aspects such as system architecture, implementation, and best practices. It enables educators to create, deliver, and manage content while facilitating engagement through interactive tools. The problem statement of this research focus on the data breach and unauthorized access, data privacy, integration with existing, lack of privacy and security, the ethical implications of data use, lack of user comfort and safety issues, challenges were addressed including issues of scalability. The project focuses on the development of a comprehensive online learning management system with features for course management, assessments, and virtual classrooms that would be able to monitor scores and improvement areas. The objectives of this research are to develop a-platform for a comprehensive online learning management system with features for course management, assessments, and virtual classrooms,, build a database structure that we used to store data, create a module for teacher and student login, create a platform used to add course, create a system that would be able to enter materials information, create a system that would be able to enter user information, integrate automated system that would have provision to display student information. The project was realized through the adoption of primary and secondary sources of data collection which includes interview, observation, questionnaire, the internet and journals. The application was realized through the adoption of Object Oriented Analysis and Design Methodology. In this work, the results are obtained by designing a system using Html, PHP and java script. Database was designed using MySQL. The results showed that with continuous advancements in Al, cloud computing, and interactive learning technologies, the future of learning management system development holds immense potential for revolutionizing digital education.
