Awareness Of The Internet Technology In Umudike
ABSTRACT
This is a study on the level of awareness of the Internet
among the staff and student of this University. A total number of 100 staff and
students was randomly selected. From this, a cross tabulation of the
differentials ii! awareness according to the results of the given
(.:1uesl.io,nrt w1i formulated. In order lo sharpen 111(3 rest.Ik i,thered from
the cross tabulations, the chi-square analysis of conhintncy lffl.1es was
applied. The result showed that, there was no significant difference between
the awareness level of staff and that of students. Also, it was gathered from
the study results, that there was no significant relationship existing between
awareness status and the discussed background characteristics.
