ABSTRACT
Water
quality determines the ‘goodness’ of water for particular purposes. Water
quality tests will give information about the health ofthe waterway. By testing
water over a period oftime, the changes in the quality of the water can be
seen. Parameters that may be tested include temperature, ph, turbidity,
salinity, nitrates and phosphates. An assessment of the aquatic macro
invertebrates can also provide an indication ofwater quality. The problem
statement of this research focus on the data that affect water quality and
authenticity ofthe limited accuracy of the forecasts, lack of providing a
clearer understanding of the structure of predicting selection of a quality
ofriver ofwater using a traditional method ofpredicting and evaluating water
quality building the models upon an accurate prediction in the limited
monitoring data is difficult. The objectives ofthis research are to develop a
platform used for parameter Selection for predicting quality ofriver water,
design a platform for a sufficient modeling ofwater quality parameters in time
series, build a database structure used to store data, design a platform that
predict the water quality parameters using historical data collection from
various station, create a platform that model system that could be used in
feasibility studies of water conservation, design a platform that uses expert
system to evaluate the quality and cleanness ofrivers water, create a platform
that discuss about the expert system to monitor the quality ofrivers ofwater
before venture into resources, design a platform for identifying the growth
potential using ICT, create a platform that predict the potential for broad and
inclusive impact on the poor quality of river of water. The application was
realized through the adoption of Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Methodology. In this work, the results are obtained by designing a system using
Html and PHP. Database was designed using MySQL
