ABSTRACT
The objective of this work is to
evaluate the performance of banker-customer relationship on Nigeria (a case
study of two selected banks in Abia State which are Oceanic Bank Plc and
intercontinental bank plc). The work stated the problems of banker-customer relationship,
there was a digression into the study of related literature works of past
authours and the view of many writers were reviewed. Primary source of data was
used which include questionnaire and oral interview, and secondary source of
data were used, they include documented facts and figures. The population size
of the study was selected from the customers of the two selected banks , the
sample size was 190 according to the questionnaire returned, the findings shows
that there is a significant relationship existing between the banker and
customers, the researcher recommends that the bank management should be aware
that they are the major determinants of the good delivery of the banks services
and also embark on aggressive promotional activities so that customers could be
informed more regularly of the services the banks offer.
