ABSTRACT
Human resource is very important in
organizations, if organization is to achieve its objective. Organizations are
made up of people acquiring their services and developing their skill. The
organization will have to motivate mem to high level performance and make sure
that they continue to maintain their commitment and loyalty to the organization
at all times. 1 io matter the type of organization seeking and keeping people
is critical to the success of every organization be it profit or non profit
organization, m carrying out this research various literature were used to
verify the various views of people concerning the effective of human resource
management on workers production. Questionnaires were also administered to the
staff of Unilever Brothers Nigeria PLC Aba, the case study. Personal interview
were also carryout, from the finding it was observed that manage determine
labor needs through recruitment; selection orientation and appraised
compensation develop and maintain their workers. But some mangers are either
ignorant of the facts. It is well known that machines can not operate
themselves without the effort of human resource, if all the human resources in
organization, embark on strike, the importance of human resources will become
clearer. An organization cannot do without human resources if it must strive to
achieve it objective. The main objective is to examine the human resource
management that will enhance optimal employee productivity.The sample size
stood at 189 workers, 20 manager, 70 supervisor and 99 clerks. Date was
analyzed using frequency, simple percentage and mean.
