ABSTRACT
This research work was centered on
the impact of advertising on consumer buying behavior of a manufactured product
with particular reference to seven-up Nigeria plc, aba. This topic is a very
vast one and one cannot claim to have treated all the aspect of the literature
involved in the topic within this skeletal outfit. Rather I have selected and
x-rayed the vital aspects of the topic relevant to the point I want to
investigate and buttress. The seminar covers aspect like: the medium through
which consumers get information concerning the product or service, the
perception of the consumers towards advertising message and the impact of
cultural groups, religion, economic and social class on consumer buying
behavior. However, chapter one discussed the history of advertising in general.
The problems and objectives of study was also stated, also moved into research
question and hypothesis as well as significance, scope and limitations
encountered in the study were also discussed chapter two deals with the list of
current literature on the study. Finally, chapter three, research design, area
of study and population of study were discussed. It also cover sample and
sampling technique, sources of data and instrument of data collection.
