ABSTRACT
This research project is
concerned with the impact of advertising as a sales strategy in Nigeria
business organization. It begins with the examination of the background of the
study and the problem that necessitated the research, in the first place. The
main objective of this research work is to explore the impact of advertising as
a sales strategy in Nigerian business organizations. The questionnaire was used,
to collect data and primary data was applied to carry out his research work.
The data collected was analyzed by means of descriptive approach in conjunction
with the frequency tables and percentage. The chi-square was employed in
testing the hypothesis and some of the findings are: That advertising does
persuade consumer to buy coca cola product. That advertising has positive
effect on the sales volume of coca cola. That advertising does improve the
competitive capacity of the firm. Finally, coca cola bottling company was
recommended to make use of advertising because, it has positive effect on the
sales volume of the firm.
