ABSTRACT
The study analyzed and was on Effect on Marketing Strategies
on Sales Growth in the food Drink Industry in Umuahia Abia State. Four
Objectives of the study were used. It was carried through the use of primary
data obtained from the administration of open ended questionnaire. The
collected data was analyzed using multiple regression and correlation. The
study concluded that the price of the product was significant at 1% but
negatively affects the sales growth of the product. It was also found out that
quality sold was significant at 1% positively affects the sales growth of the
product. Again, that advertising was significant at 1% level of probability and
positively affects the sales growth of the product. It was recommended that
there should be carefulness in the area of pricing. This is because any
increase in the price of the product may lead to fall in the sales volume in
the future. Advertising and sales promotion effort and campaign should be
increased. Such will accelerate frequency of purchase which invariably will
lead to increase in the quantity sold at the long term. Also product branding
should be strategized in a way to achieved more of differentiation and
positioning. This will enhance customer loyalty at the long term
