ABSTRACT

 This study was done to consider the effects of corporate social responsibility on organizational performance. Other specific objectivefwas to assess various ways management of MTN Nigeria Communications Limited carry out corporate social responsibility. Corporate social responsibility is very essential in increasing the performance of any organization. The study was done with a total population of 100 respondents that was used determined using the Taro Yamane's formulae for sample size determination at 0.05 significance level (95% confidence level). A well structured questionnaire was used to collect data for the analysis and other data were collected from secondary sources which includes internet, journals and textbooks. From the results of the analysis, it was found out that effective continuous corporate social responsibility enhance organizational performance and so the researcher recommended that Corporate Social Responsible should connect to government values making company accountable to a broad range of Stakeholders (employees, suppliers, local community and society at large) and incorporating social and environmental values in their operations in order to manage their relationship with these stakeholders that can have impact on the company's development
