ABSTRACT
In this work, a solar radiation
measuring device (Digital Solar Radiation Meter) was designed and constructed.
The device was constructed to measure solar radiation intensity and display
readings in volts. Based on this, a standard solarimeter was used to calibrate
the meter under the same meteorological condition to convert its readings to
watt per meter squared. The readings were found to be accurate.
