ABSTRACT
This project concerned the design
and construction of an FM radio receiver. In the course of this design,
concentration was given to hard wiring which gives a faster response and
introduces a level convenience to the designer. The construction of the FM
receiver was done in such away that connection follows the circuit diagram. The
system is designed in modules, which involves the techniques of modularity. For
simplicity, suitability and compatibility of a stage to conform to changing
circuit parameters in other stages were considered. Another step taken in the
construction was earlier identification of hazards and the development of
appropriate step to isolate and control them in the design phase. FM Radio
receiver rapidly becoming the most popular form of Radio reception due to its
distinct advantage over other forms of reception device, It is extremely
reliable. The designed FM receiver will have the ability to receive signal
ranging from 88mhz- 108mhz.
