ABSTRACT
A D.C. power supply unit was designed
and constructed by the process of rectification, filtering and regulation of
60HZ mains voltage supply. The device was designed and constructed to give out
an adjustable output voltage between 0-15v using a 5-way ganged switch. The
device was tested and was found to give out an output current of about I
Ampere, a very low output impedance of 0.190, a high rated power of about
l5watts and a good regulation. Thus the device could be used as an efficient
power supply in the laboratory and domestically to operate some electrical
equipment.
