ABSTRACT
The study focuses on "communication a
toolfor effective management". The main objective of the study is to
examine the effect of communication on star printing and publishing company
limited Enugu while the specific objectives are to point out the importance of
communication in the management of any organization, to reveal the problem of
inadequate distortion of information in the company, to map out or design the
solution to the problem of lack of communication gadgets in the company. To
achieve the stated objective primary data where obtainedfrom administration of
questionnaire through afield survey. To further test and accept or reject the
hypotheses formulated, the ANOVA was employed. The result showed that 74.9%
accepted that there is a positive and significant impact on effective management
of the company, 62.2% accepted that there is a relationship between problem of
inadequate distortion of information and effective management of the company,
9.8% accepted that there is a significant impact of technological gadget in the
company. It was recommended that star printing and publishing company should
improve more on their communication system so as to have higher impact of the
management of the company, the company should put more measures in place to see
that there is little or no distortion ofinformation among various department
and staffs so as to increase the level of management efficiency, they should
embark on current trends in technological gadgets so as to improve productivity
and efficiency.
