Effects Of Small-Scale Business On Consumers Welfare In Arochukwu, Abia State

ABSTRACT

This research work was carried out with the aim of bringing out the impacts of Arochukwu Local Government Area of Ahia State in this research work anothers has been placed on the positive impacts played by small scale business in the provision of employment opportunities, revenue generation and equitable distribution of wealth among residents of the study area. Data were collected through the use of a structured questionnaire shed to employees, civil servants and the general public. Respondents record from the respondent were analyzed through the use of frequency table and percentage. Based on the analysis of data, the researcher found out that the impact of small-scale business on Arochukwu cannot be over - emphasized. They provide employment, revenue, create wealth and provide goods and services that assist in nation building. Based on the findings, recommendations were made to ensure the continuous existence of small-scale business.
