ABSTRACT
This
research work is aimed at understanding the pattern of growth by internet cyber
cafes in umuahia metropolis based on the time series analysis of the monthly
income by access cafes computers limited umuahia from January 2006 - December
2010 (sixty months). It seeks to heighten the understanding of the past and
current pattern of growth so as to find out how well the internet cyber cafes
has fared and its likely future growth. To this component of the time series
data are studied to show if seasonal factors really influence the performance
in the monthly income’s, the estimated model ARIMA (III) of the monthly income
is determined using a statistical package known as Minitab. The Box- pierce
(Qstatistic was used in the diagonist checking to know if the model adequately
fits the data. Conclusion and recommendations were made based on the results of
the analysis.
