Time Series Analysis Of Recurrent Revenue Of Ahiazu Maise From January 199 To December 2001
ABSTRACT
Recurrent Revenue can be looked at as the country's income from taxes, rates and other. The major objective of this work is to design a mathematical model that could be used to forecast dependable future values of recurrent revenue of Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, in Imo State and as well evaluate the revenue data so as to see if it is normally distributed and has constant variance. Also, the components of time series present in the data was also estimated and isolated. The survey covers monthly recurrent revenue of Ahiazu LGA, Imo State between January 1 996 to December 2000. The main method of analysis used in this work is the time series analysis and the multiplicative model was also applied. The result showed that the revenue increases by 0.17 in million per month, where October had the highest seasonal influence and March had the lowest, it was also revealed that the monthly recurrent revenue data was normally distributed while the variance were not all equal.
