Statistical Quality Control On Saclux Paint Company Product (Textcoat):- Ndimele Chimerenka
ABSTRACT
The actual measured quality characteristics of
Saclux Paint Company (text Coat Product) was considered in this work. The
ultimate objective of life study is to provide information that may be useful
in management and control of production of high quality Paint. Statistical
quality control method through the technique was used for this study. It was
observed that the process variability and process average for the quality
characteristic of (Calsium) used in this analysis was out of control. In case
of marble dust both the process variability and the process average was in
control also for water the process variability and process average was in
control. But for a more stable process variability for calsium, the point that
fall outside the action limits was removed and the revised control limits
constructed. It is recommended that the company should use the control limit
obtained in this study for more improved quality of textcoat paint product.
