Performance Evaluation Of Agricultural Credit Administrators In Financial Institutions In Owerri, Imo State.
ABSTRACT
This study was carried out to assess the performance evaluation of Agriculture credit administrators in financial institutions in Owerri, Imo State. It however aimed at identifying the roles assigned to the various agricultural credit administrators by the selected credit institution in the state, to the various agriculture credit which influence their level of roles performance, to make recommendations for consideration form the finding s of this work. To achieve these objectives, a sample of seventy credit administrators in the study area were randomly selected and interviewed using structured questionnaires. Statistic tools such as mean, percentage and linker type scale were used to analyze the data. Result's of analysis showed that credit administrators performances we e influced by such factors as institutional, individual and clientele factors which signifies the major determinants of their performance while compensation and minor determines of the performance constraint were averagely rated v4,ich implies that they are minor determinants of the performance of credit administrators from my findings. Therefore a modality should be worked out to enable they farmers to meet up vh the basic collateral requirements to enable the farmers to enjoy credit facilities in order to increase their production and the performance of credit administrators.
