Management Accounting As An Indispensable Tool In The Management Of An Organization (A Case Study Of Nigeria Breweries 9th Mile Corner Ngwo Enugu):- Ezekiel Ugochi
ABSTRACT
This study focused on the management
accounting as an indispensable tool in the management of an organization with
particular reference to Nigeria breweries Enugu state. The non-adoption of
management accounting by some organizations over the years might have resulted
to the loss of interest in some products. The population of study used in this
work is the staff of Nigeria breweries Enugu state with 55 questionnaires
distributed to the respondents and were all returned by the respondents. The
statistical instrument used is descriptive statistics where the percentage and
frequency of the respondents to each question was used for the analysis. In
carrying out the hypothesis testing, Regression analysis was used to test it at
0.05 level of significance. The study found out that the management accountants
play their role in Nigeria breweries and that management accounting has
significant effect on the management of Nigeria breweries. The researcher then
recommends that the management of Nigeria breweries should improve more the
management accounts department. Since the adoption has made positive impact on
the growth of the organization, all organizations in Nigeria should set up a management
accounting department in their organizations for the organization to grow more.
