ABSTRACT

A Human Resources Management System (HRMS) operates within the domain of organizational management, specifically focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of HR functions. The need for HRMS arises from the increasing complexity of managing workforce data, employee benefits, payroll, performance metrics, and regulatory compliance. In traditional HR practices, such tasks were often handled manually, which was time-intensive, error-prone, and difficult to scale. Consequently, organizations face challenges in maintaining accurate employee records, assessing performance consistently, and ensuring compliance with evolving labor laws. The primary aim of this study is to provide a centralized platform that automates HR tasks and enables better decision-making through data analysis. By integrating various HR functions, an HRMS streamlines operations, reduces administrative burdens, and enhances data accuracy. Key objectives of the study includes minimizing human error, improving employee data management, and offering insights through analytics that support workforce planning and talent management. Agile software development, with phases for requirements gathering, system design, testing, and deployment were used in this study. The database were designed using MySQL, user-centered design (UCD) was employed, ensuring the system is intuitive and accessible for HR staff and employees. Data analytics and machine learning are increasingly were applied to predict trends in workforce behavior, retention, and performance. Results from implementing HRMS platforms demonstrate improvements in HR efficiency, cost savings, and employee satisfaction due to streamlined access to self-service options. The system's significance lies in its ability to empower HR teams with accurate, real-time data, fostering a proactive approach to managing workforce dynamics. For effective use, organizations (MOUAU) are recommended to focus on proper training, ensure data privacy and security, and continually update the system based on evolving HR needs. By doing so, an HRMS can become a strategic tool for workforce management, enhancing organizational adaptability in an ever-changing business environment.
