Evaluation And Management Of A Self Watering Raised Soil Bed With Grated Rice Husk As Agro-Fibre
ABSTRACT
A study was done on
evaluation and management of self-watering raised soil bed with grated rice
husk. Sample of saud was collected from the eastern farm of Michael Okpara
University of Agriculture, Umudike. It was tested for its moisture content,
bulk density, particle density, porosity, soil textural class. The seed used
was garden egg and the following parameters were determined stem height and
diameter, number of leaves and the leaf area index. In each test and
measurement, standard procedures were used and results given.
