Effect Of PowerPoint Presentation Academic Achievement Of College Of Education Of Michael Okpara University Of Agricultre Umudike:- Agbaegbu, C.N
ABSTRACT
Achievement of objectives of any
course is measured by the students' learning outcome. This study sought to
investigate effect of power point presentation on the academic achievement of
college of education students in curriculum study in 2012/2013 academic session
and 2014/2015 academic session in Michael Okpara University of Agriculture,
Umudike Abia State. Interest was stimulated by the researchers concern for
students' low achievement in education. The study adopted ex-post factor
research design. Two research questions and two hull hypotheses were stated to
guide the study. The population of the study is made up of 305 students that
were took the used course for the in study, the two academic sessions. All the
students that took the course therefore sampling was not drawn. The instrument
for data collection was the students' examination department examiners. scores
collected from the students' various The results obtained were analyzed using
mean and standard hypotheses. deviation to answer the research questions and
t-test was used to test the null The study revealed that 2012/2013 academics
session taught curriculum curriculum using power using point lecture achieved
better than 2014/2015 academic session students' taught power point
instructional method. Based on the finding it was recommended that up to 150
students' techniques should be used by lecture especially class that is where
they are in the to class.
