E-Commerce: Design And Implementation Of Credit Card. A Case Study Of Kolping Supermarket, Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria.
ABSTRACT
The continuous need for electronic commerce
(E-commerce) and technological advancement have brought about electronic
payment systems. The notion of electronic commerce (E-commerce) is proposed as
a means of drawing together a wide range of business support services. The first
consideration is what unifying or umbrella concept can be used as a means of
integrating the various electronic supports technologies. The term "credit
card" has the advantage that commerce is sufficiently broad notion, which
can reasonably be used to encompass all trading element which need to be dealt
with. This system will save customers the inconveniences of carrying bulky sum
of paper money around. And will also save the management, the problem of
accepting fake paper money and fake cheques .The researcher reviews the current
state of electronic commerce as well as credit card in Nigeria, through which,
the current state of Kolping supermarket was examined. The new system was
implemented, from which conclusion was derived.
