ABSTRACT
The prototyped motorized cassava shredding machine was
designed and fabricated. The machine shows a high efficiency of 67.88 to 72.2%
at 2 -14 minutes at boiling time for 100rpm while for 50rpm, it shows
efficiency of 60 to 75.2% at the same boiling time .The throughput capacity
range from 3.09 to 27.02kg/hr at a speed f 50rpm while at 11.37 to 21.41 for
100rpm. The shredding quality was better at 10-14 minutes of boiling for all
speed used.
