ABSTRACT
This was carried out to assess the psychosocial
effects of insecurity among internally displaced Persons'^®enue Slate-The

Likert scale model smtple random sampling technique. A 20 item questioned

that poverty is the factor responsible for insecurity^ It is recommended that a
critical assessment ofthe living co"ddl«"s of IDPs be done also
improved upon and the factors responsible for insecurity be tackled to help
control the situation and also prevent aggravation ofthe currentsituation
