ABSTRACT

A primary data generated from a trial carried out by a small farm site at NRCRI Umudike was used to investigate the effect of different levels of NPK 20 : 10 : 10 on sweet potato root yield. The significance of the treatments was investigated using ANOVA and test of multiple comparisons were used to sharpen the results obtained. From the analysis, the treatments were found to be significant. The results showed that sweet potato gave a higher yield when fertilizer was applied at a moderate quantity.
