'A Statistical Analysis of Students Performance in University Examination at 100 Level:- Ikenna Darlington O

ABSTRACT

This project work is a study of students' performance in University examination at 100 level in Imo State University. Where and fifty students in five different department using six courses in the faculty of science were involved in this study. We tested for if or if not the performances of each student depends on his or her department using a two way analysis of variance (ANOVA) at 5% level of significance for the students of (2009/2010) session and concluded that the performances of each student depend on his or her department. We also tested for the if or if not of the student have similar or equal means performances in the course they differed the same two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) at 5% level of significance and concluded that the student don't have similar or equal performances in the course they offered.
