ABSTRACT

 Production is the act of combining various material inputs and immaterial inputs in order to make something for consumption. The success of production comes about as a result of effective framework of the cooperative objective, production takes place in an environment called a factory. This factory is a place where people are employed for the purposes of making, altering and repairing, ornamenting, finishing and adopting for sales of an article. It combines various material inputs and immaterial inputs (plans, know-how) in order to make something for consumption (the output). The production control system has been operated manually and due to that, numerous problems were encountered. This project was designed how to successfully implement the computerized procedures and to overcome the problems and obstacles involved using a manual system of production control. In the existing system, there is inadequate or nonexisting stock record to provide enough used information about the bills of materials used in a manufacturing companies and their defiled analysis. The whole procedure is tedious and time consuming and problems of time to acquire necessary info and material used in these companies. The aim of the study is to develop a computerized production control system and the objectives is to track production orders daily, to have access to documents reports from various departments in the company, Accurate record keeping, to provide the necessary report that help to determine when to make purchase; it generates the bills of various products produced in that company. In the process of the research work Agile Software Development was the methodology used. The following software requirements for the installation of this system are: Operating system windows 10, XAMP server, Mozilla Firefox/ any other browser, My SQL database server, Apache web server, PHP Admin, Notepad++. The end result of this project will be a computerized production system that takes adequate stock records, productions orders being tracked daily and facilitating the fast running of the company
