Tourism involves the movement of people from their usual places of domicile to other places which are novel to them for the purposes of leisure, business, cultural exchange, religion, or other pursuits, and the provision of services that facilitate and enhance their travel experiences {World Trade and Travel Council (WTTC 2008, 2023). The travel services have become the most signi
cant global industries, contributing substantially to economic growth, employment generation and sociocultural development across nations. In tourism, three elements are paramount – there is always a travel; a stay and activities while away from home; after which, the tourists return to their normal homes. The people, the travel, the stay and the activities they participate in all form part of the tour.
