ABSTRACT

This work aims at determining the Revenue collected by Federal Inland Revenue Service Umuahia within the given period of time. Revenue collection has been defined in the project as a fundamental step in the development of every nation. The survey also examine trend in which the revenue data collected by Federal Inland Revenue Service Umuahia tends to follow and also discover the underlying mechanism that generated the Federal Inland Revenue Service data. A statistical software package MINIT AB version 11 was used for precision and accuracy to generate ACFs and PASCFs. From the analysis, an AR1MA model was developed for the data i.e. AR.IMA (I, 1, 2).The residual analysis was negligible in the analysis due to random walk behaviour of the data.
