ABSTRACT

The time series analysis presented here deals with the monthly profit generated by G. AGOFURE transport limited. A secondary data was used; tire data was collected on monthly basis from accounts department of G. AGOFURE Transport Company limited. Tire statistical tool used was MINITAB. The plot of the original series of ACF and PACF shows that the series is non stationary that is it contains some seasonal components. Differencing was done to ensure stationarity the plot of ACF and PACF for tire differenced series was done. It showed seasonal component which led to the seasonal differencing of both ACF and PACF to obtain the new plot by using order 12 differencing. The plot of both the ACF and PACF of the differences series and the ACF and PACF of the difference gave tire model SARIMA (111) (010)12. Also residual plot was done. Diagnostic checking and forecasting, this showed that the model SARIMA (111) (010)12 fitted the data.
