Time Series Analysis Of Calabar Local Government Council Expenditure (2003-2007)

ABSTRACT

For any Local Government to keep an accurate record of its expenditure, there has to be a documental statistical data which could be used as reference point. This study seeks to analyze the expenditure of Calabar local government from 2003-2007. therefore work is based on time series with the classical method of analysis. These include the plot of autocorrelation, partial autocorrelation, trend, seasonal indices and other subseries plots The used of this computerization method is quite a complex one and professional but has a greater speed in the analysis. Therefore, in this work we are able to estimate the various components of the· time series using the classical approach via Minitab software.
