ABSTRACT
The Role of Monetary Authorities (CBN) in the liquidity Management of the Banking Industry. Looks at the overview of Management in the Banking Industry especially the Nigerian Banking Liquidity Management. It also gives an overview of the results of lack of liquidity management, which include Bank Distress, etc. The role of Monetary Authorities (CBN) determines the effects it has had on the performance of the banking industry through the sue of rank correlation! superman's correlation. In Accordance with the use of CAMEL Ratings i.e. Capita; Adequacy, Asset Quality, Management, Earnings and liquidity. This project covers from the period of 1980-2007 and the use of secondary Data were obtain from both annual reports and statistical Bulletin of the central bank of Nigeria (CBN)
