ABSTRACT
Complexes ofZinc and copper have been synthesized using 4-amino2,3-dimethyTl-phenyT3-pyrazolin 5-one. The nature ofthe complexes and ligand were proposed based on infrared spectroscopy, ultra violet spectroscopy, melting point, solubility and colour. The ligand, 4-amino-2,3-dimethy-l-phenyl-3-pyrazoline-5-one coordinated to Zn and Cu ions through the C=O and NH2functional groups. The ligand behaved as a bidentate ligand. Square planner geometry were proposedforthe complexes.
