ABSTRACT One method ofsolving Bessel equations is by the Frobenius method which involves long series expansion. But vfith the application of Gamma function and its evaluation, Frobenius was able to evaluate Bessel functions with positive integers and examples of such abound in literature. But we discovered that little was done on the evaluation ofBessel functions with non-integer . parameters. So, this work was able to utilize the property in the evaluation’ofGamma functions with non-integerparameters to evaluating Bessel functions ofthe same property. With that, we were able to evaluate Bessel functions ofboth the first and second kind with ease.
