ABSTRACT
Linear programming, an operational research tool is widely used in finding solutions to complex managerial decisions. This research work applies the concept of simplex method an aspect of linear programming to solve industrial problems with the aim of maximizing profit. Guinness Nigeria Pie specializes in production of different kinds of beverages. Four different types of alcoholic beverages were sampled for study. These are big stout, small stout Gordon spark and harp larger beer. Based on the analysis of the data collected; it was observed that big stout asswnes more objective value contribution and gives the maximum profit at a given level of production capacity
