Based on the finding, the researcher recommended that government should provide a conducive investment environment and remove the structural rigidities that exist in the economy to create jobs, the need for massive investment in the real and productive sectors of the economy and that Government through the monetary authorities should lower interest rates as this can boost local production by increasing the availability oflong term capital/credit to the real sector.
