ABSTRACT ix This study was carried out to screen Escherichia coli from wastewater. For Extended Betalactamase producing Escherichia coli, a total number often (10) samples of wastewater were cultured on Xylose Lysine Deoxychlor (XLD) agar using streak plate techniques.
