ABSTRACT dents were purposively and incidentally selected from two universities in Mia State (ABSU Uturu and MOUA Umudike). 3 research questions were asked, percentage were used to answer. Two hypotheses were tested using chi-squared statistics. Results should that students in both universities have acceptable knowledge of HIV/AIDS. 28% of them have not gone for VCT. Those who have gone were not counseled except for2%. It is recommended that VCT centers be established in these universities and others to stem the tide ofHIV/AIDS.
